It’s that special time of year when gamers sit glued to the internet for news coming out of LA. What games are coming for the holidays? What secret projects will be revealed? What the hell is Project Scorpio? Who won E3? That last one I care the least about. It’s a trade show not a competition. Though the Internet does like to make it one.
I remember one of the first E3s when I sat in front of my computer monitor, connected to Compuserve’s video game channel. Sega was about to show off some games that really would demonstrate what the Saturn could do. Yeah good times. For now I can be excited but with a backlog of games with titles like The Witcher 3, and Horizon Zero Dawn, and Final Fantasy XV, I’m not too crazy about what’s around the corner.
